COURSE INFORMATION

The Japanese Comprehensive Course

The courses where students comprehensively learn the four Japanese language skills: Listening,Speaking,Reading and Writing.

The Japanese Comprehensive Course allows studen1ts to systematically study the Japanese language to reach for their various goals, such as enrolling in a Japanese university. Students comprehensively learn the four skills of Japanese language:listening, speaking,reading and writing, . Through level-based classes, tests that are carried out almost every day , our students are able to receive the highest standard of Japanese language education.

Curriculum

The course is classified into 8 levels, from the beginner class to learn basic Japanese through to the advanced class, aiming to pass the JLPT N1 exam.

LevelElementary Class 1
Target Students
Course for students who learn Japanese for the first time
Learning Goals

・Students can use common daily expressions and communicate basic things about themselves

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N5 with a high score

LevelElementary Class 2
Target Students
Course for students who have learned basic Japanese and have a Japanese proficiency of JLPT N5 or higher
Learning Goals

・Students can communicate using simple expressions if it is about personal information or familiar matters

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N4 with a high score

LevelIntermediate Class 1
Target Students
Course for students who have completed the beginner level, and have Japanese proficiency of JLPT N4 or higher
Learning Goals

・Students can summarize and communicate their opinions about familiar topics and issues they are interested in

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N3

LevelIntermediate Class 2
Target Students
Course for students who have completed the elementary level, have Japanese proficiency of JLPT N3 or higher and aim to pass N2
Learning Goals

・Students can discuss and negotiate about relatively familiar topics and issues they are interested in

・Students can speak and write in a way that is appropriate to the place, the people they are speaking to and their objectives

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N3 with a high score

LevelUpper-intermediate Class 1
Target Students
Course for students who have completed the intermediate level, have Japanese proficiency of JLPT N3 or higher and aim to pass N2
Learning Goals

・Students can explain social and fairly specialized topics based on evidence

・Students can understand and discuss content that is equivalent to university lectures

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N2

LevelUpper-intermediate Class 2
Target Students
Course for students who have completed the intermediate level, have Japanese proficiency of JLPT N2 level and aim to pass N2 with a high score or to pass N1
Learning Goals

・Students can explain social and fairly specialized topics based on evidence

・Students can summarize and present questionnaires and interviews

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N2 with a high score

LevelAdvanced Class 1
Target Students
Course for students who have completed the preintermediate class, have Japanese proficiency of JLPT N2 or higher and aim to pass N1
Learning Goals

・Students can explain and exchange opinions regarding a wide range of topics

・Students can give speeches and presentations using an appropriate manner of speaking and stance

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N1

LevelAdvanced Class 2
Target Students
Course for students who have completed the preintermediate class, have Japanese proficiency of JLPT N2 or higher and aim to pass N1 with a high score
Learning Goals

・Students can explain and exchange opinions regarding a wide range of topics

・Students can write sentences about social topics using a suitable style and expressions

・Students aim to pass JLPT-N1 with a high score

Tests

Various tests are conducted at all levels. These tests are for encouraging students to study at home and for assessing their learning achievements.

  • ●Language Verification Test (almost every day)
  • ●Kanji (Chinese character) Test (almost every day
  • ●Grammar Test (once every week or every two weeks)
  • ●Final Exam (once at the end of semester)

Exam Preparation Courses

In spring semester and fall semester, exam preparation courses for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) are provided.
